Craig Doyle’s Glorious Buns

Craig Doyle & Gloria DLGC Glória Dublin’s Lesbian and Gay Choir were delighted to perform on the Craig Doyle Show which was broadcasted on RTE 2 television  on Thursday 13th of December at 10.35pm. The show was recorded on the previous evening..

Renowned actress Fionnula Flanagan was among the guests joining Craig Doyle on the final show of the season. Also appearing on the show were Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli and comedian Stewart Francis. Our chairperson Barry Dowling  did us really proud by speaking to Craig about our forthcoming concert and by getting the most amount of plugs for Glória merchandise onto the national airways in under 10 seconds. Barry gave Craig a little present of our “Glorious Buns” apron and a  copy of our “A Christmas Celebration”. Both of these products can be purchased from our website shop or in St Patrick’s Cathedral on the night of our Christmas concert.
Craig delighted many of the choir by graciously posing for photographs after the recording of the show. You can view these photos on our gallery at this link or on Facebook/Gloriadlgc

Hollywood actress and Dubliner Fionnuala Flannagn was presented with a copy of our classical cd and  remarked that she really enjoyed our performance on the show and had heard our feature earlier that day on the RTE Radio One Mooney Show.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Bruno Tonioli delighted audience and choir members alike and was quite envious of our glorious buns! We’ve said we’d send him an apron for Christmas! He promises that is all he will wear on Christmas day and I think having met him, he’s not lying! The choir performed our highly requested version of “Ring Christmas Bells Ring” conducted by our wonderful musical director Ian Packham.

If you missed the show you can watch it on the RTE Player
