Nominations are now been called from the public by the National Lesbian and Gay Federation for the GALA awards for 2011. The GALAS have been set up by the NLGF to honour lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered people and organisations for their contributions to society. The awards are also to honour politicians, employers and other people who are committed to advancing equality and social acceptance for LGBT Irish people in Ireland and abroad.
Gloria DLGC would be honoured to be considered for nominations under the categories : Voluntary Organisation of the Year and National Event of the Year (Our Christmas concert in St Patrick’s Cathedral).
